Job Description
Octane is revolutionizing recreational purchases by combining cutting-edge technology and innovative risk strategies. The company is seeking an accomplished AI/ML Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions in production. The role involves shaping the strategy for AI leverage across the organization, mentoring engineers, and ensuring consistent value. This is an ideal position for a hands-on leader.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field, or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience.
- Proven expertise with leading ML/DL frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with C++ or Java.
- Practical experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
- Deep understanding of data engineering concepts and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrated success designing, deploying, and optimizing AI/ML systems at scale.
