Job Description
OakBend Medical Center is seeking a Dispatcher to operate communication/PBX equipment and handle radio dispatch. This PRN position is for as needed coverage and is ideal for those with experience in a medical or emergency environment. The Dispatcher will be supervised by a Lead Dispatcher.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years dispatcher/PBX experience in a medical or emergency environment (preferred)
- Computer knowledge with working knowledge of software programs
- Strong communication skills
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute
- Bilingual a plus
- Strong communication and PBX dispatching skills
