Job Description
North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Transport Driver - Solid Waste to transport solid waste from a Transfer Station to the landfill. The driver is responsible for the safe operation, care and appearance of assigned vehicle.
Requirements
- Transport solid waste to designated site
- Monitor condition of mechanical equipment and notifies appropriate shop personnel of needed repairs or any operational problems
- Observe all safety guidelines and policies as initiated by the NTMWD
- Responsible for maintaining thorough and complete process records and logs
- May be responsible for responding to various emergency situations as directed by supervisor
