Mechanic - Industrial

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) seeks a skilled Mechanic to perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining mechanical equipment similar to that used in the water/wastewater treatment industry.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
• Must have the ability to comprehend, carry out and administer written and oral instruction.
• Must become proficient in the use of the District Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Must have the ability to read operations and maintenance manuals, schematics, blueprints and safety datasheets.
• Must possess considerable knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
