Distributed Systems Engineer (L6) - Commerce Product Data Engineering

Netflix is seeking a Distributed Systems Engineer (L6) to lead the technical vision for ML-oriented data products and drive the strategy for producing, managing, and delivering data for feature computation, model training, and online inference across the Commerce ecosystem.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in ML data systems, distributed systems, and data product design
• Proficiency in at least one major language on the JVM stack (e.g., Java, Scala) and SQL (any variant)
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and large-scale, low-latency pipelines and services
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in fast-moving environments
