Job Description
The Intake Worker - Elder Justice Program is responsible for determining preliminary eligibility and completing intake along with preliminary assessments on victims seeking information, support, and services. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a social service/non-profit setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a social service/non-profit setting
- Knowledge of domestic violence and/or older adult community-based services
- Comfortable with public speaking, reporting to alternate sites, multi-tasking, team building, critical thinking, empathy, time management, cultural competency, and knowledge of using Microsoft office applications
