As a PLC Technician, you will help transform our Bakery by installing and maintaining physical assets, adopting and implementing reliability programs, and contributing to determination and maintainability of new process control systems.
Requirements
- Understanding in automated industrial machinery, including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, etc.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, packaging, conveyance, liquid and powder manufacturing equipment and processes
- PLC trouble shooting, electrical and mechanical drawings, installation and troubleshoot basic three phase motor control circuits, breakdown analysis
- Allen-Bradley MicroLogix and ControlLogix hardware trouble shooting, PLC programming implementing RSLogix5, RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 software or equivalent
- Industrial communication networks including Ethernet, Allen-Bradley Remote I/O and DeviceNet communication networks
- Electrical schematics, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s)
- PID Loop tuning and instrument calibration procedures
- Programming languages relevant to PLCs
- Electrical control systems, including PLC controls, networking, and HMI systems
- Control system modifications and new projects to improve plant performance and reliability
- National Electrical Code, Wiring, Hydraulic Systems, and Pneumatic Systems
- Reading blueprints and schematics
