Job Description
As a PLC Technician, you will help transform our Bakery by installing and maintaining our physical assets, and then adopting and implementing reliability programs to sustain their operational excellence. The role will involve troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley MicroLogix and ControlLogix hardware, performing PLC programming, and implementing industrial communication networks.
Requirements
- Understanding in automated industrial machinery, including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, etc.
- Knowledge of packaging, conveyance, liquid and powder manufacturing equipment and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley MicroLogix and ControlLogix hardware
- Perform Allen-Bradley PLC programming implementing RSLogix5, RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 software or equivalent
- Read electrical schematics, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's)
- General knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Knowledge of Wiring, Hydraulic Systems, and Pneumatic Systems
- Reading blueprints and schematics
