The Deputy Director/Director, VPR Office will provide strategic leadership and operational support in all research matters in the VPR office, responsible for formulation, implementation, and regular review of research policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master's degree, preferably PhD degree with R&D background
- Proven experience in a similar capacity with demonstrated competency in leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and stakeholder relationship
- Prior work experience in institutes of higher learning or in managing research sponsored programs will be advantageous
- Proficient in statistical methods and techniques for analyzing data
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI and ability to create clear, compelling visualization to communicate insights
- Requires comprehensive understanding of the education landscape
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
