Senior Service Activities Coordinator

The Senior Center Activities Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive program of recreational and cultural activities for elder community members, promoting cultural engagement, and fostering a sense of community.

Requirements

• Plans, organizes, coordinates and implements a variety of community and human service programs events for senior citizens
• Drives a commercial vehicle with air brakes
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Administers medications while on trips or in case of emergency
• Organizes and supervises classes, workshops and activities for senior adults
• Surveys the interests and needs of seniors in the community
• Responds to inquiries about senior services, events, and activities
• Provides information and referral services for social services available to senior citizens
• Prepares and maintains related records and other documents
