Transporter (MTM Only)

Delivers hot meals to eligible home-bound seniors/elders, and on site service to other tribal and community members. Transports seniors/elders to and from medical, dental and other appointments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current and valid Washington State Driver’s License
• Basic first aid
• CPR
• Office equipment operation, including phones, computers, copiers, faxes, pagers
• Confidentiality/HIPAA policies
• Verbal and written communication
• Some medical knowledge and skills
• Knowledge and recognition of prescription drugs
• Good communication skills with medical personnel and peers
• Ability to make quick and sound decisions in case of emergency
• Recognizing diabetic shock and other emergency medical situations
• Interpersonal relations
• Multi-tasking, organization
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Meeting deadlines, being prompt and on time
• Providing fair and equitable customer service
