MSL Engineering Ltd is a mechanical engineering contractor seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to manage project scope, ensure safe and efficient project delivery, and develop construction execution plans. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a senior mechanical/project engineer and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or equivalent.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
- Min 5 years relevant experience as senior mechanical / project engineer
- Experience working on mechanical construction projects in relevant industry sectors
- Experience working for a mechanical contractor
- Experience working on the construction stage of projects
- Preferably a Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or equivalent
- Professional Project Management qualification, such as PMP or IPMAD an advantage
- Proficient in the use of Navis Works or equivalent packages
- Completion of Management of Safety in Construction (MSIC) - desirable
- Strong Communicator, written and verbal
- Diligent, has a high level of attention to detail, and sets a high standard of quality for themselves and others
- Personable, and a team player
- Strong project management, planning discipline
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Hard working and able to work in fast paced work environment
- Accountable & highly organised someone who take ownership of tasks from beginning to end
- Decisive, able to make decisions while lacking some information
- Ability to complete successful negotiation and build rapport with customers and subcontractors
