Mountain Recreation is seeking a part-time Outdoor Recreation Assistant Program Instructor to support specialty camps, such as mountain biking, archery, and stand-up paddleboarding. The role requires a passion for working with youth outdoors and a commitment to delivering high-quality recreation programs. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
Requirements
- Considerable knowledge of child development and ability to implement age-appropriate activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Desire to make a positive difference in the community.
- Previous experience working or volunteering with children/youth.
- 1–2 years of experience in outdoor recreation and/or youth-serving programs.
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification (required).
- Current Wilderness First Aid (WFA) or Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or the ability to obtain this certification prior to beginning employment (preferred).
