Instructional Faculty, Pharmacology, Physician Assistant Program

The Instructional Faculty for Pharmacology will provide pharmacology expertise across the curriculum, teach two pharmacology courses annually, and support program activities such as admissions and assessment. The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, prior teaching experience in pharmacology, and a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.

Requirements

• Provide academic instruction in assigned pharmacology courses
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate course content
• Serve as the program's pharmacology subject matter expert
• Assess student learning through exams and other performance measures
• Utilize the PA program's Learning Management System (LMS)
• Participate in admissions activities, student orientation, and program events
• Maintain a collegial learning environment
• Stay current with developments in pharmacology and therapeutics
• Engage in professional development activities
