Lead Software Development Engineer, Finance Platform Automation

As a Lead Engineer in PitchBook’s Finance Platform Automation division, you’ll drive the engineering initiatives that power our Finance technology stack. You’ll mentor engineers, guide architecture, and deliver automation and data solutions aligned with strategic business goals.

Requirements

• Mentor and lead the design and development of automation solutions for Finance and Revenue platforms
• Deliver scalable, maintainable code focused on performance, reliability, and security
• Provide architectural direction and uphold engineering best practices
• Ensure the health and integration of Finance systems including Salesforce Billing, Oracle, Informatica, and Marketo
• Lead initiatives to improve automation, workflow efficiency, and data consistency across the Finance ecosystem
• Drive adoption of best practices in automation, test coverage, and cloud-native delivery
• Partner with Product, Finance, Sales, and Data teams to translate complex technical needs into impactful business solutions
• Maintain high standards for security, performance, and estimation accuracy
• Identify and remove blockers early to ensure timely, high-quality releases
