Job Description
The Physician Assistant (PA) provides clinical care to patients, conducts health assessments, diagnoses, and prescribes medications. The PA collaborates with other healthcare professionals, focuses on preventative health, and ensures optimal patient care through interventions and professional supervision. This role involves performing physical examinations, managing injuries, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in state of practice
- Nationally Certified as PA-C by NCCPA
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Current DEA license to write prescriptions (if applicable)
- Valid NPI
- Current DOT medical examiner certification
- Master's degree
- At least one year (three years preferred) of clinical experience
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts
- Ability to train ancillary support staff
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
