The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of engineering and construction projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or financial management, with a focus in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industries
- California Prevailing Wage experience
- Caltrans invoicing experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Expert level knowledge of Excel
