Job Description
Mixpanel is looking for a Principal TLM, Query Infrastructure to lead the query team in building and maintaining the next generation of Mixpanel's query infrastructure. The role involves designing and building fundamental query primitives, improving query planning and scheduling, and ensuring performance and uptime SLAs.
Requirements
- Prior experience building, maintaining & scaling reliable, high-volume distributed systems
- Strong CS fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems)
- Ability to reason about ambiguous problems from first principles and propose creative solutions
- Prior engineering management experience, especially on teams that build and operate high volume, stateful distributed systems in SaaS environments
