Manager System Engineering (m|w|d) – Imaging and Instrument Design

We are looking for a Manager System Engineering to lead the development of Advanced Imaging Instruments for Spatial Biology. The role requires in-depth experience in microscope device development, technical responsibility, strategic system understanding, and close collaboration with adjacent departments.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in engineering sciences, physics, or a comparable field; alternatively, Master's or Ph.D. in biology with relevant experience in optoelectronic or microscope-technical development environments
• Several years of professional and disciplinary leadership experience and expertise in the development of microscope systems
• Knowledge in at least two engineering disciplines such as electronics, firmware/software, fluidics, mechanics, construction, optics, optoelectronics, device technology, or physical technology
