Job Description
At attocube, we develop some of the world's most precise microscopy and nanopositioning systems — technologies that advance research in materials science, optics, nanotechnology, and quantum physics worldwide. In this role, you will take on a key position: you will connect technological innovation with real customer needs and ensure that our high-end AFM/CFM/SNOM systems not only function reliably, but set new standards.
Requirements
- Completed degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, optics/photonics, or a related field
- Experience with high-precision measurement or microscopy systems (AFM, SNOM, optical methods)
- Know-how in application development, system integration, or industrialization of complex instruments
- Basic understanding of software APIs, SDK structures, and UI/UX concepts
- Strong customer and application focus, with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to software, production, and application teams
- Hands-on mindset, deep technical understanding, and willingness to test and optimize systems in practice
- Confident written and spoken communication skills in English
