The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, exceptional time-management and organization capabilities, and have an ability to take initiative.
Requirements
- Functions as a liaison between patients, physician practices, internal departments, hospitals and other organizations.
- Close collaboration with the physician and staff.
- Prepares the charts for clinic day.
- Interface with surgery scheduler as needed.
- Educates patients on the logistics of surgery;
- Completes correspondence including faxing, mailing, work comp reports, draft letters, and maintenance of medical appointment schedules for the practice.
- Responsible for assisting to organize any meetings, private records reviews and depositions for assigned physician.
- Represents physicians by screening incoming telephone calls;
- Organize and maintain the practice calendar.
- EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
