Job Description
MGE Underground is seeking a motivated Mechanic to join their growing utility infrastructure contractor team. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment. This position offers opportunities for growth and advancement, with a focus on safety and teamwork.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly learn new processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Minimum 4 years experience in heavy-duty equipment service and repair.
- Minimum 4 years experience with hydraulics, diesel engines, and DOT/BIT.
- One year experience with air brakes.
- One year experience with vehicle electrical and computer-controlled systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
