Job Description
Methodist University is seeking a Service Learning Coordinator for its new School of Medicine. The Coordinator will develop, implement, and assess service learning initiatives that align with the mission and curriculum of the allopathic medical school.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree in education, public health, higher education administration, or a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in service learning, community engagement, student affairs, or related areas
- Experience working in or with medical education or healthcare environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Familiarity with LCME accreditation standards, especially those related to community engagement and medical professionalism
- Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
- Knowledge of social determinants of health and community-based health initiatives
