Job Description
This is a full-time, nationally recognized Nurse Residency Program position for New Graduate Registered Nurses. The program offers a structured transition from graduate to professional nurse through on-the-job and classroom education. The role involves a combination of clinical training, research projects, and teamwork with experienced nurses. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in leadership, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
- Licensed as RN in State of Illinois.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to position and transfer an average adult patient.
- Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing.
- Ability to perform difficult manipulative skills (IV insertion, IM injections) and gross coordination.
