Job Description
This advanced practice provider (APP) role focuses on facilitating evidence-based patient care. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, collaboration, advocacy, and teaching within a department. The APN will work with physicians to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes, documenting thorough clinical notes and utilizing data for performance improvement.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required or FNP determined.
- Licensure in Illinois State law for Nurse Practitioners.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate school experience as an APN preferred.
- Valid CPR and ACLS certification (where required).
- DEA license required.
