Key Account Manager Handel (m/w/d) National

MBG is seeking a Key Account Manager Trade (m/w/d) National to manage, acquire, and maintain customers in the food retail sector (LEH). The role involves expanding product portfolios, regional and national customer management, contract negotiations, and implementing strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty. Collaboration with internal teams and analysis of market figures are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Completed business degree or comparable commercial training
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the FMCG sector
• Ideally, an existing network of contacts at (regional) decision-makers
• Sound knowledge of market structures and processes in the German LEH
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and ideally with ERP systems
• Analytical skills, especially in the evaluation of sales and market data
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting
• A strong sales instinct
• Communication skills and confident appearance when dealing with buyers
• Negotiation skills and closing skills, combined with tact
• Independent, proactive, and structured work style
• Goal orientation and a “doer” mentality
• Decision-making ability
• Team skills and high social competence
• Contemporary affinity for social media
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
• Negotiable German skills in written and spoken form
• Good English skills are an advantage
