The Manager of the HSE Business Unit is responsible for implementing Project Safety, Accountability Programs, Accident and Fire Protection Programs, Risk Management issues, and maintaining full compliance with Company, Client, and State/Federal safety regulations for a Business Unit.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in occupational/environmental safety and health management or equivalent experience.
- 10 years’ experience in safety, with an emphasis on the engineering and construction industry.
- Construction Safety Professional (CSP) certification or Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a safety supervision/management role required.
- Strong understanding of Federal OSHA safety regulations, as well as applicable state regulations.
- Strong understanding of project safety planning/management.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
