Job Description
Marley, a leading roofing manufacturer, is recruiting a Production Team Manager for their Reading, England site. This role focuses on managing a team, ensuring safe operation of plant and equipment, and adhering to company standards for quality, waste, and OEE. The position requires some flexibility and occasional weekend work, and reports to the Production Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating in a manufacturing site with responsibility for a team of 10 or more colleagues
- Excellent people management skills - employee relations, absence management etc.
- Experience of maximising the potential of others including development and performance management
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
- Knowledge & understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques (DMAIC)
