Military Family Life Counselor

Provides counseling services to children and youth of military service members and their families at military installations. Must be licensed as a Social Worker, Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Psychologist. Work closely with installation and military branch Points of Contact to assure program is provided within scope and meets needs of the installation.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a Mental Health related field
• Valid unrestricted independent counseling license from a State, District of Columbia, US Territory or Commonwealth
• Minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience
• Intermediate-level competencies in technology and software (e.g. Microsoft Suite, Internet navigation, Smartphone/Tablet and application navigation, video-conferencing platform navigation)
• Ability to engage and communicate with military members or children as assigned
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
