The Sorting Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of automated and manual sorting equipment to ensure the finished product meets established quality standards.
Requirements
- Set up and operate sorting machines and inspection systems.
- Visually and mechanically inspect parts to identify and remove defective or non-conforming product.
- Record accurate counts and complete required production and quality documentation.
- Handle materials and sorted product in accordance with labeling and packaging procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Monitor machine operation and report malfunctions or abnormalities.
- Follow work instructions and production schedules to ensure timely output.
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform additional duties as required.
