Job Description
As an In-Home Direct Support Professional, provide guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security, and safety to individuals with disabilities in their homes or community. Support individuals in developing essential living skills and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of background check
- Successful completion of medication administration training
- Computer and math skills
- Ability to read, write, and solve problems
- Good decision-making skills and ability to respond to emergencies
- Ability to recognize boundaries and exhibit patience, self-control, and flexibility
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
