Job Description
Designated Coordinator will oversee program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities, providing guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security, and safety, and advocating for each individual's health and wellness needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Services
- 1 year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
- Ability to supervise, support, train, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals
- Ability to manage accounts payable, payroll records, petty cash/individual accounts, and budget monitoring
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with counties, families, stakeholders, and community organizations/groups
- Ability to maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings/trainings
- Driver's license required
- CPR certificate, First Aid (when required), and medication administration training
- Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership
- Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance
- Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record
