Job Description
Lubrizol is seeking a Process Development Engineer to support thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) product development and strategic manufacturing support projects. This role involves providing technology support to OEM footwear, manufacturing processes, and regulatory management of change. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in chemical, mechanical, and process control technologies, process safety management, and statistical analysis. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to Estane UOI growth, participate in plant and corporate HSE initiatives, and lead teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field
- 2-5 years of manufacturing operations experience OR participation in Lubrizol Co-Op program
- Strong foundational knowledge in chemical engineering principles
- Strong project management skills
- Solid mechanical and chemical process engineering skills
- Knowledge of process and equipment design
- Knowledge of experimental design (DOE)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with others at all levels
