Case Manager-Utilization Management

The Case Manager plays a vital role in delivering patient-centered care at a large, highly-accredited tertiary academic medical center. This role involves efficient clinical expertise, discretion, and independent judgment in patient care, utilizing a clinical process model and case management practices. They maintain a strong understanding of utilization management and ensure medical appropriateness is met. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN)
• Minimum two years of hospital nursing experience
• Minimum two years of case management, utilization review, or discharge planning experience in acute care
• Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Nationally recognized Utilization Management or Case Management certification preferred
