Roadway Design Engineer

Join Lochner, a trusted infrastructure services provider, as a Roadway Design Engineer. You will oversee and assist in analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents for transportation projects. The ideal candidate has 4-8 years of experience in roadway design and plan preparation, a BSCE, and PE certification. Florida resident preferred, with the option to report in-office or hybrid.

Requirements

• BSCE is required.
• PE required
• 4-8 years of demonstrated experience in roadway design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients.
• Experience in design software.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with highway geometrics, intersection design and layout, estimates and quantity development is a plus.
