Job Description
The Chief Building Engineer will lead the Engineering team and oversee all building maintenance, repairs, and operations. This role focuses on ensuring tenant satisfaction, safety, and building efficiency through monitoring energy usage, overseeing contractor work, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The position requires strong technical and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
- Manage all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate Engineering staff.
- Prepare budgets and manage inventory.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintain detailed documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFC, NFPA regulations.
