Building Engineer

The Building Engineer I is responsible for maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role involves performing routine maintenance, responding to tenant requests, ensuring systems operate safely, and assisting with preventive maintenance. The engineer will also work with senior engineers, contribute to professional development, and follow company safety protocols.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Two to three years of experience or commensurate certification/trade experience
• CFC Certification preferred
• Basic working knowledge of laptop and phone applications
• Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies
• Competent knowledge of use and care of tools
