Job Description
The Building Engineer I maintains and operates building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. They ensure safe operations under the guidance of senior engineers, respond to tenant requests, and perform routine maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting equipment, reporting hazards, and supporting preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Two to three years of job related experience or trade experience
- CFC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Basic working knowledge of laptop and phone applications
- Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements
- Ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and during emergency situations
