Lightcast is seeking a Manager of Data Science to lead and grow a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. The role involves designing, building, and productionizing analytics and ML solutions to drive business outcomes, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship. This position requires a hands-on approach to scaling data products and staying current with industry trends.

Requirements

• Coach, mentor, develop and lead a high performing data science team.
• Plan projects, prioritize work, allocate resources, and track milestones.
• Provide technical guidance on model selection, model architecture, feature engineering, evaluation, and productionization.
• Ensure best practices for model monitoring, versioning, CI/CD and MLOps.
• Keep the team current with industry trends and appropriate new methods; sponsor prototyping and experimentation.
