Job Description
Homebase is seeking a Manager of Data Science to lead a team transforming data within their app and related systems. The role focuses on implementing AI-powered solutions, optimizing processes, and partnering with engineering, product, and design teams. It involves leading a team of data scientists, building ML models, and championing experimentation to deliver impactful results.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, or AI product development
- 2+ years in a people leadership role, mentoring and growing data scientists
- Strong background in machine learning (optimization, traditional ML, or frontier models)
- Proven track record of shipping ML models into production
- Proficient in SQL and Python
