Job Description
LifeLong Medical Care is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to join their 7th Street Site in Berkeley. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position supports community healthcare programs by screening and certifying patients, providing enrollment assistance, and serving as a navigator for new patients. The role involves collaboration with front office staff, front office operations, and tracking data for outreach efforts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years’ experience in a community health care environment or primary care setting
- Experience with One e-App and Cal-Win
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO and PPO health insurance policies and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
