CNC Machine Operators

Legacy Building Solutions LLC is an industry leader in the design and construction of steel frame buildings and is looking for CNC Machine Operators to join their team. The position is full-time and requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of CNC equipment experience. The hours of this position are Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with occasional overtime as needed on Fridays.

Requirements

• Read work orders or Pro nest programs and plan sequence of work.
• Select cutting tips or other attachments. Install and align them.
• Maintains accurate material inventory data and records accordingly throughout the day.
• Selects proper materials per cut programs or instructions.
• Handle and load metal onto machine
• Secure work pieces and position guides, stops, or other fixtures.
• Set controls for speed, feed rate, depth and angle, or pressure and temperature.
• Clear jams and adjust settings. Alert supervisor of problems.
• Measure finished work pieces to determine if they are the right size and inspect for defects. Use meters, gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Handle and move materials and parts.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment on a routine basis.
• Determine when and what kind of maintenance or repairs are needed.
• Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
