Operator I, CNC

Night shift position operating CNC machines in a production shop environment working with steel materials for the production of railroad tracks and crossings. Job responsibilities include operating CNC machines, measuring devices, and overhead cranes, as well as completing production reports with accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years machinist/CNC machine operator experience
• Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision
• Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect rail using measuring devices
• Must be quality oriented and a team player
• Must have complete understanding of safe work practices
• Must be able to meet the requirements of post-offer drug test, medical review and criminal history review of misdemeanor and/or felony convictions
