The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of complex internal and customer-facing projects, leveraging internal and external Technology & Information Services teams. They will collaborate closely with Product Management and Business Analysts to shape business requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
Requirements
- Deliver projects/programmes on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage project teams through all phases: requirements, design, build, test, and deployment.
- Apply and refine project management practices, including planning, reporting, risk and issue management, and communication.
- Set and manage realistic timelines and scope with sponsors.
- Collaborate across departments and with external partners to ensure alignment and progress.
- Support client account management and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations with external clients and suppliers as needed.
- Motivate and guide teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Oversee task distribution and encourage cross-functional collaboration.
- Secure milestone approvals from sponsors and clients.
- Line manage Junior Project Managers, providing feedback and coaching.
- Maintain project reporting and metrics in line with PMO governance.
