Welder I - Entry-US

Weld various parts used in manufacturing Kennametal products. Perform pre operation checks, safety inspections, and operate various welding equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
• Completion of basic math, blueprint reading and gauge-reading training
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate with supervisors and coworkers
• One year of welding experience preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of low hydrogen and mild steel welding procedures preferred
• Ability to use an oxy-acetylene torch preferred
• Specialized Robotic welding programmed Training (40 hours) preferred
