Job Path is seeking a Disability Employment Specialist to work with autistic people and adults with developmental disabilities to customize jobs and provide ongoing support. The ideal candidate will be able to envision possibilities and opportunities for the individuals and serve as a motivator for the members of a person's circle of support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or in job development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with administrative work and record keeping
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both externally and internally with team members
- Ability to actively listen and collaborate
- Computer literacy (G Suite, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, basic data entry)
- Demonstrate competency in written, verbal and computational skills to document records in accordance with program and OPWDD mandates
- Excellent networking skills
