Customer Service Bookkeeper (Remote)

We are seeking a Customer Service Bookkeeper to join our team at Mainstreet (Bench). The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, or tax preparation, and 2+ years of customer-facing experience. They will be responsible for accurately categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining clean ledgers, as well as providing empathetic and professional communication to clients.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, or tax preparation
• 2+ years of customer-facing or client service experience
• Excellent spoken and written English proficiency
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
