Technical Manager (Newborn & Child Health)

Jhpiego is seeking a Newborn and Child Health Manager to support facility-level strengthening activities across Tando Allah Yar, Matiari, and Mirpurkhas districts of Sindh. The Manager will provide strategic and technical leadership to improve newborn and child health services, including the readiness, quality, and functionality of secondary-level facilities and Special Newborn Care Units (SNCUs).

Requirements

• Health professional qualification (medical degree, nursing, or equivalent)
• Master’s in Public Health or related field
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a health sector management position
• Up-to-date knowledge of community level interventions
• Direct experience providing IMNCI services
• Experience implementing newborn health activities
• Management, planning, supervisory, and leadership skills
• Critical thinking, strategic, and operational skills
• Policy and advocacy skills
• Excellent English writing and communication skills
• Experience working with key organizations working in maternal and newborn health
