Job Description
Jhpiego is seeking a full-time specialist for a new project supporting the provision of neonatal and pediatric care in Guatemala. This role involves technical implementation of neonatal and pediatric health activities, collaborating with local partners, and monitoring project progress. The project focuses on improving access to high-quality healthcare services for mothers, newborns, and young children. The position is located in Huehuetenango, Alta Verapaz, and Quiché.
Requirements
- Medical degree and surgery license with active registration
- Master's degree in Pediatrics
- 5+ years of experience in similar positions (can include the period of residency)
- Availability to travel to intervention and project areas 75% of the time
- Experience in Guatemala public health services
- Professional English fluency (intermediate or higher)
