Job Description
Jhpiego is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to support the provision of high-quality services in Global Health Security, Nutrition, and Maternal-neonatal Health in Guatemala and Alta Verapaz. The role focuses on strengthening the lab and blood bank network, implementing activities, and collaborating with partners.
Requirements
- Implement activities to strengthen the network of laboratories and blood banks
- Collaborate in the identification of mentoring
- Ensure that the lab and blood bank inputs are in accordance with MSPAS guidelines
- Provide technical assistance in the planning of the acquisition and consumption of inputs
- Maintain effective and respectful communication with team members
- Inform of risk situations and project status
- Collaborate with project teams
- Travel to intervention areas 75% of the time
